Mahjong mat material notice
Unless a product page expressly states otherwise, our Mahjong mats are sold as either 17.7oz Leatherette or 20.6oz Textured Leatherette.
Leatherette and neoprene are different materials. Our leatherette mats are not neoprene and are not advertised or sold as rubber-backed or foam-backed mats. References to a soft underside mean that the underside helps protect the table. They are not a promise of rubber backing, foam cushioning or guaranteed nonslip performance.
If you specifically want a neoprene, rubber-backed or foam-backed mat, please do not order one of our leatherette options.
Selecting a leatherette mat while expecting neoprene or rubber backing is an incorrect material selection and does not qualify for a return or refund when the delivered item matches the material identified on the product page and order confirmation.
Made-to-order products
We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, ordering the wrong product, material, size or design, expecting a leatherette mat to be neoprene or rubber-backed, personal preferences about thickness, weight, feel or firmness when the product matches its description, minor color differences caused by screens, lighting, material texture or normal printing variation, or damage caused by use, improper cleaning, folding, storage or normal wear.
Damaged, defective or incorrectly produced items
We will provide an appropriate refund or replacement when an item arrives damaged in transit, is the wrong product, material, size or design, contains a manufacturing defect, has materially blurred, pixelated, incomplete, misaligned or otherwise defective artwork that was not shown in the product listing, or is materially different from what was ordered.
A subjective dislike of an accurately reproduced design or normal variation in color or texture is not considered defective artwork.
Reporting a problem
Email hello@mahj-nificant.com within 14 days of delivery, or within any longer period required by applicable law. Include your order number, a description of the problem, a clear photograph of the entire product, close-up photographs showing the defect or damage and photographs of the packaging and shipping label if the order arrived damaged.
Please keep the product and its packaging until your request is resolved. Do not mail an item to mahj-ni ficant, Contrado, Lulu or another fulfillment provider unless we provide return instructions.
Approved refunds and replacements
After reviewing the evidence, we may offer a replacement, reprint or refund to the original payment method. If a return is required for an approved defective or incorrect item, we will provide instructions and cover the authorized return shipping cost. Unauthorized returns and customer-selected shipping methods will not be reimbursed.
Approved refunds will be initiated promptly. Your bank or card issuer may require additional time to post the credit.
Cancellations and changes
Production can begin soon after checkout. Contact us immediately if you notice an order error, but changes or cancellations cannot be guaranteed once production has started.
Shipping delays and nondelivery
If we cannot ship within the promised period, we will provide the options required by applicable law, which may include accepting a revised shipment date or canceling for a full refund.
Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. Where applicable law provides greater protection, that law controls.
